In many cases that a stringer is required, stopping the process to clean the plate, is not possible (due to increased pressure drop). One of the possible solutions is to use of duplex (twin) strainers. Generally, in this design, using piping and probe valves, two same size strainer connect to each other. Initially, the valve is adjusted so that the fluid is directed to one of the strainers. When it needed to be serviced, fluid is directed to the ready-to-use stringer by changing the valve's mode. Then the first Stringer is serviced and cleaned up, and as a result, it is ready to be used. In this way, there is always a ready-to-use stringer. It is possible to design and manufacture the duplex form of Taha strainer models.
